As AI shifts software creation from syntax to intent, designers face a pivotal moment: moving beyond static UI design and low-fidelity prototypes into building functional, working applications directly.
To pioneer this shift within ArcTouch, the "Vibe with Me" workshop was launched, an internal 5-week incubator designed to equip designers with the mindsets, prompt strategies, and hands-on skills needed to integrate AI vibe coding (v0.dev) into their everyday workflow.

To showcase the impact of the Vibe with Me workshop and highlight the shift from static design frames to functional AI prototyping, a promotional reel and demo showcase were created to capture the workshop's projects.
Rather than relying on traditional stock footage or static slide decks, the entire promotional reel was created using modern Generative AI workflows:

The Problem: Tech FOMO & Shiny object syndrome
In the fast-moving tech ecosystem, designers and developers suffer from constant tool fatigue. New frameworks, libraries, and AI apps launch daily. The impulse to drop deep work to try every shiny new tool harms focus, fragments tech stacks, and lowers actual output.
The Solution: Parking Hype
Parking Hype is a gamified productivity web app designed to buffer the noise. It forces a 7-day cooldown period on hyped new tools before you are permitted to integrate them into your workflow. Combined with community reality-checks and an RPG-inspired focus timer, it turns self-restraint into a core productivity mechanic.

1. The 7-Day Cooldown Vault
Mechanism: When a user discovers a new tool (e.g., a new AI generator or visual builder), they "park" it.
Behavior Design: A mandatory 7-day lock prevents instant adoption. After 7 days, if the user still feels it's essential, access is unlocked.
2. Reality-Check Community Filtering
Crowdsourced Truth: Community-driven reviews and hype ratings give honest feedback on whether a tool is genuinely game-changing or just marketing spin.
3. RPG Deep Work Focus Timer
Gamified Productivity: Converts focus sessions into RPG-style quests. Completing distraction-free work sessions earns XP, helping users level up while enforcing deep work habits.
